Property Sciences is a fully independent, appraiser-owned and operated real estate valuation services firm, providing the full range of appraisal, appraisal management, collateral data solutions, and valuation consulting services on residential and commercial real estate properties nationwide. Many of the largest users of appraisal services in the nation depend on Property Sciences to provide timely and accurate real estate information.
Founded in 1984, Property Sciences started as a real estate consulting and appraisal company with just a handful of employees, initially offering commercial real estate appraisal services and adding a residential appraisal group in 1986.
From Fastest-Growing Company
to Industry Market Leader
The company quickly expanded; in 1993 and again in 1994, Inc. magazine named Property Sciences one of the “Fastest-Growing Companies in America.” In 1995, Property Sciences founded Commercial Lender magazine as a tool for its mortgage clients, growing the publication to become the largest commercial real estate finance magazine in the United States.
In 1999, Property Sciences launched C-Lender.com, an online business portal version of the magazine that generated over $800 million in loan referrals in its first 12 months. Commercial Lender magazine and C-Lender.com were sold to Scotsman Publishing in 2001.
Today, Property Sciences combines four decades of appraisal expertise with its own technology platforms, including PSManager, AMCTrak, PurchaseConnect, QuickValue, BrokerFast, crefX, PSReportWriter, and PropSci360, while continuing to deliver the independent, appraiser-led service the firm was founded on.
